Yes, the two grinders are identical and you can use both if them for any flavor you want.

How much salt or pepper will they hold?

About 1/2 to 3/4 a cup depending on the spice. You won't need to refill them for about 2-3 weeks the salt and the pepper will last about 1 month. It also varies from household to household, I use them mostly for ready meals.

NO LIGHT

THE SALT GRINDER WORKS WELL, BUT THE LIGHT HAS NEVER WORKED. IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE HOW MUCH SALT IS COMING OUT, AND I THINK THATS WHAT THE LIGHT WAS FOR. SO I'M A BIT DISAPPOINTED WITH OUR PURCHASE.

Electric pepper grinder

I love my grinder. I am having a problem adjusting to fine grind. It only does coarse grind.
